Seasons Change
By Eve Willow Dickson and Rebecca Strong
Anna Leonowens Gallery
Oct 29- Nov 4, 2025

Inspired by our kinship with the natural world in a time of growing disconnect, Seasons Change is a painting- based show that sought to reestablish humans as being a part of nature, rather than merely in nature. The show explores our personal relationships and parallels with the natural, touching on themes such as the passage of time, impermanence, cyclical patterns of death and rebirth, and sensory experience.

Thin Spaces
in- progress body of work

Thin Spaces is a body of work born out of the idea that reality is an abstract spectrum that exists in interaction with the vessels that are used to contain it (for example, a spirit within a body, or the concepts captured by a word). The resulting overlap between containers and the uncontainable is what we contend with, resisting containment but also using it to create a shared reality.

This body of work portrays living bodies existing within atmospheric, mysterious environments. It examines themes of intimacy, the veil that hides the past and the future, secrets, the forgotten, the inaccessible, truth, and the unease of abandoning control.
